MAY 2026 COMPUTER VISION

Smart Gate System — Vehicle Detection Integration

Building a gate that automatically opens for authorized vehicles using IR sensor arrays and pattern-matching logic on an ESP32. Hardware design complete, computer vision logic in progress.

SMART LAMP

APR 2026 SMART HOME

Smart Desk Lamp — App-Controlled RGB Lighting

A fully app-controlled RGB desk lamp with a custom 3D-printed enclosure. Controllable via smartphone with scene presets, brightness control, and color selection. Built on ESP32 with a clean web interface.

IRRIGATION SYSTEM

MAR 2026 AGRICULTURE

Smart Irrigation System v2 — Dashboard & Alerts

The second version of the Smart Irrigation System adds a live web dashboard for soil moisture monitoring and WhatsApp alerts when moisture drops below threshold. Deployed on Supabase and Vercel.

IRRIGATION v1

FEB 2026 IOT SYSTEMS

Smart Irrigation v1 — First Working Prototype

The first fully working version of the Smart Irrigation System — soil moisture sensor readings reliably triggering the pump relay. Key lesson: capacitive sensors need 3.3V not 5V to avoid false readings.

BOX PEN HOLDER

JAN 2026 3D DESIGN

Box Pen Holder — First 3D Design at the Lab

The very first 3D design project at Msoka IoT Lab. A functional desk organizer designed in CAD from scratch. Simple geometry, clean lines — focused on learning the design-to-print workflow.

DEC 2025 GETTING STARTED

Setting Up the Lab

First breadboard, first sensor, first LED that blinked on command. Every IoT developer has that first moment when software meets hardware. This is where Msoka IoT Lab began.
